Ambalavany is my fathers name of heritage, from a small island, off the coast of Northern Sri Lanka.
This island, peaceful and mysterious, isn't even on most maps, as it is small and remote. But from this small corner of the world, came my father and ancestors. And through grit and faith, they persevered for legacy and family.
Ambala mean "keeper", and "vany" means temple, so to me, my father was, is, and always will be... "keeper of the temple."
Ambalavany Jewelry is a testament to his life.
We are a small family run business, based out of Montana. We curate intentional heirloom estate and heritage South Asian jewelry from around the world.
Meant to be treasures passed down for generations.....
1. Our pieces are mostly all either: solid gold, gemstones, and/or heirloom collector pieces. We pay homage to the craftsmanship of artisans, both new and old.
2. The pieces we curate are appraised by a trusted jeweler for quality and authenticity. Next to each piece listed, you will see transparency and detail.
4. We also source from private estates, and thus serve as a vintage acquisition house. Each piece sourced from estate jewelry is appraised for authenticity.
5. We curate pieces, that we believe will hold intrinsic value over time. However, each piece is also sourced for style, beauty and elegance- meant to rock blue jeans, a ball gown or even a temple sari.
6. We love South Asian pieces, and curate both classic and modern styles for contemporary sophistication.
